From October 21st to 29th, the largest design event in Northern Europe returns to Eindhoven: The Dutch Design Week (DDW). This year the Evoluon is again one of the main venues for this iconic annual event.

Spaceship Earth is easily accessible by car. Located at the A2 highway exit, you can drive directly from the highway to our parking lot, where there is more than ample free parking. Den Bosch, Tilburg, and Weert are all within half an hour's travel time from our spaceship. From Utrecht, Rotterdam, and Maastricht, you can reach us in less than an hour.

The Evoluon is your perfect homebase during DDW in Eindhoven:

DDW starts every day at 11:00 AM, but our satellite location opens at 10:00 AM so you have the time to park your car and pick up your rental bike. If you arrive between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, the chances of finding free parking are the highest, and you can start your day in our restaurant before embarking on the DDW Experience.

Brasserie Next is open from 10:00 AM for breakfast or coffee with pastries. You can also pick up a breakfast (to-go) for only 9.95 euros. Starting at 11:00 AM, the DDW ticket booths open for you to pick up your wristband or purchase one at the counter.

This year, there are five different exhibitions to explore at the Evoluon, including: SpaceFarming, Super Nostalgia, Circle Farm, Broccopork, and Guilty Flavors. Afterward, you can visit the rest of DDW by bike, Design Ride, or on foot!

During your visit to SpaceFarming, you'll discover the future of food and learn more about the food revolution that lies ahead. To complete that experience, you can book the Future Food Tasting at Brasserie Next starting from 12:00 PM. At an Instagram-worthy table, we'll let you taste and experience the future of food!

For 19.50 euros, you can book the Future Food Tasting, where you get to sample 5 future bites. If you prefer a fully satisfying lunch with innovative flavors, you can book the extensive Future Food Tasting for 39.50 euros.

We have a limited number of tables available per shift, so be sure to reserve your experience in advance! (UPDATE: SOLD OUT)

At Evoluon, there is a boarding point for the DDW Design Rides, providing direct access to all other DDW locations. Additionally, we offer bike rentals for 15 Euros per day. Prefer walking? Within 15 minutes, you can find yourself in the vibrant StrijpS area or at Piet Hein Eek.

On the premises, you'll find a Mobility Pop-up Hub from Brainport Bereikbaar. For €15 per day per bike, you can have a sturdy A-brand city bike with 7 gears equipped with puncture-resistant tires. In total, we have 125 bikes available per day. You can leave your car behind while you visit the DDW locations.

With your DDW wristband, you can ride along with the Renault Design Rides. The Renault Design Rides will take you to and from all official DDW locations, daily between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Do you want to ride a Design Ride from Evoluon? Reserve one during DDW by calling 040 218 00 00. During busy times or in case of rain, there may not be an immediate Design Ride available, so you might need to wait.

The Evoluon is not a standard pick-up point. The following locations are:
